The Bend's long-running defense and celebration: the "Dump the Dumps" campaign, 350+ acres under Land Trust for Tennessee easements, the annual Ring the Bell Dinner, and the "Friend of the Bend" newsletter.

West & north Davidson County · informal all-volunteer coalition
25+ partner organizations working to name, celebrate, and conserve the forest that covers 80% of this district. By its own description an informal coalition, not a 501(c)(3).

Organized around preserving the Cato Road area's rural character; hosts community meetings on area rezonings and posts meeting video.

Protects Whites Creek's rural character and historic identity; runs the Whites Creek Food Forest and the annual Block Party (4th edition, Oct 2025).

Covers the Haynes/Bordeaux boundary area: community meetings, the Taste of the District fundraiser ($50k to Whites Creek HS), and a scholarship fund. Listed here with its District 2 identity noted plainly.

Bordeaux / North Nashville · chamber of commerce, est. 2012
Hosted the annual State of Bordeaux; site says current events post to its Facebook page. A full named board is on its website.
Scottsboro / Bells Bend · USDA-era community club
One of about six surviving Davidson County community clubs — known for Friday Night Singing and the fall barbecue. Clubhouse at 5102 Old Hydes Ferry Pike remains a landmark.
Haynes Manor · neighborhood association (nonprofit)
A 1960s neighborhood whose streets honor notable African-Americans; sits near the D1/D2 line. Two Facebook pages exist; recent activity couldn't be dated from outside.
Bordeaux Hills · residential association
Long-running: neighborhood watch, disaster relief fund, beautification projects, participatory-budgeting advocacy (the Hinkle Drive speed bumps). President Ruby Baker.
Whites Creek · historical society, founded 2013
~40 members at last profile; partnered on events with Historic Nashville Inc. Its logo appears among the Alliance's partners.
